Tension
Like many QSR brands, Cane’s digital presence hadn’t kept pace with its physical growth. The site felt archaic and struggled with basic utility—even finding the nearest restaurant was a chore.
Approach
To modernize the brand's look and feel for a national stage, we balanced a sleek, updated user experience with Raising Cane’s iconic heritage while simultaneously helping them re-platform to a modern CMS. By designing a flexible, modular design system, we empowered their content editors to easily compose, curate, and scale new pages across the digital ecosystem.

research
findings
Cane’s exceptional in-store experience and consistent food quality were driving massive brand enthusiasm, and we needed to tap into that mojo as we re-introduce them digitally.
Express our “One Love” on the website more creatively
We have a strong sense of who we are as a brand, but our digital messaging is not reflecting our focus and core values.
Keep the local feel while expanding globally
Community is a big part of our DNA - how do we scale our brand nationally and globally, while retaining our local feel?
Tell our brand story in a cohesive narrative
Our current site is too focused on it’s own story, rather than the interconnected stories of the people that make up the Raising Cane’s brand.
Integrate our digital islands
Our current site presents a fragmented user experience, out of step with modern user expectations
ideation and exploration
Consistent and cohesive digital experiences will drive usage and orders.
